Frequently asked questions

Do I need to change my bank?

No. You keep your bank. The currency side runs through our regulated payments partner.

What if the pound moves in my favour?

The part you’ve fixed converts at the fixed rate, so you give up some of that gain. The part you leave open still benefits. That’s why most businesses fix part, not all, of each invoice.

What if a client pays late?

A fixed rate has a due date. If the money isn’t there by then, the fixed amount is settled at the market rate on that day, which can mean a small gain or cost. We size your protection to how your clients actually pay.

Is there a minimum size?

Hedgify works best for businesses converting a few hundred thousand a year or more in foreign currency.

Do I have to commit to anything?

No. Most businesses start with a month or two of simple conversions, then decide whether to fix rates.
